Alegria is an institution funded by the Berlin government that helps children in need of therapeutical support.

It combines the fields therapy and circus and offers group classes for acrobatic and also individual lessons with or without parents.

 

The challenge for this branding was to create a logo that would speak to children in a playful way without screaming "therapy" and still be perceived as a serious institution with their parents.

The branding should also be based on their main illustration that shows a sad looking kid who's brain/hair is filled with joy and acrobatics.

For the logo we created a more subtil interpretation of this illustration and paired it with a custom made logotype. The letters of this word mark are based on a sans-serif font and seem to dance/ do acrobatics themselves. 

In addition, we created the web design, as well as their business cards, flyers and posters.
